Ehh.. Well, its hard to say.

There are a lot of factors which go into weather they are edible or not.

It takes quite a bit of research.

NOT TRUE! Only eat positivly identified mushrooms, and EVEN then, proceed with caution.. i figure its goona rain for a few days here, so iv been reading up on hunting and identifing different types, I sugest you do also : ) As for any easy tips: I keep reading where people call certain mushrooms "little brown mushroom", and i think that i have convluded they are unuseful, because theres so many, and they are hard to ID, anyone confirm?

No.

Not true.

There's no lazy man's way out of this one.

You'll just have to flat out research the mushrooms you're looking for and the mushrooms you've found.

Mushroom hunting is not a hobby for those who are weary of reading or researching a little bit.

Although bluing is often a telltale sign of psychoactivity, you would be a fool to eat it without properly identifying it. I have on several occasions had friends/aquaintences come to me with poisonous boletes thinking they where psychoactive. There are also a number of mushrooms that have blue-like pigments, and it is not hard to mistake, rotting/blackening as bluing, especially if you are not familiar with the bluing effect in Psilocybes. My recomendation to you is to get familiar with the features of the genus Psilocybe, and do some research into what grows in your area (and in what habitats). You can never do enough research, or take too many precautions when it comes to picking and identifying mushrooms that you plan to consume.
