actually they are finding evidence that there was people in the aMERICAS before the current genetic stock of "native " americans arrived. either they died off or were exterminated by the new influx. sounds kinda like a familiar theme.

I'm guessing you are refering to drugs. Yes drugs are fun recreationally, yes they should be legal. Until then there is still a lot you can go out and do and the government won't tell you to stop provided you aren't hurting anyone, putting others in danger, or destroying someone elses property.

I feel American if you compare me to people from other countries. At home the duality is less apparent so I'm a product of the Pacific Northwest and nuclear energy/

I believe that defending your country is important, and considering the people out to get our country these days I have no problems with supporting my own. If the US wasn't consistently a lesser of two evils to me my allegiances would be different.

As for God, I don't think he cares about alleigiances, and family sure. Not so much when I'm living with them though.

I don't like to think of myself as aligned with a label, but when I was abroad I felt different and got pissed off when people talked shit about America and had never been there.

I am an american whether I philosophically believe in patriotism or not. I accept that there are people that want to kill me for no other reason then where I reside, because of this, I will not ignore the dangers and take the cowards way out while hiding behind the veil of "justice". Justice does not exist in this world, we humans are a nasty breed of organisms who will always and forever perpetuate conquest and destruction. I accept this state that governs our world and hence, will defend myself and family ultimately, behind the flag of my country, for it is our only means of survival.
