My good friend bought me a copy of this book, to accomidate my collection of Shultes books which include two copies of "The Botany and Chemistry of Hallucinogens", including one leather bound edition, Both editions of "POTG's", Ethnobotany: the evolution of a disciple...., which kindly compliment the rest of my library. If you can get your hands on a hard copy do it!

This is kinda funny buit i had ordered the hardboubnd edition of the Schultes Hallucinogenic Plants back when it first came out and in 1978 and a few years later Dick Schultes autographed my copy. What was strange was that the book had been out for more than a year and a half and Dick told me he had never recieved his copy.

While this is really a cool book and a later book, Non Plowering Plants came out from the same publishers.

The only thing wrong is the Panaeolus sphinctrinus information which was incorrect when he wrote the book has never been corrected.

The same errors also appeared in the plants of the Gods and in Botany and Chemistry of the Hallucinogens.

Still it is a good pocket guide to have if one can find a cheap copy.
