Wow, would you mind sharing your prep method? I've never seen anything close to that with the corn

I do it probobly the most in-advisable way. First I PC the kernels for about 45 minutes at 15 psi. They should get pretty swollem with water then I just place them in the jars with the lid a little loose and with the rubber side up. Then I PC the jars for another 45 at 15 psi. I let it sit over night then in the morning I just go and lift the lids up just a tad bit and squirt some spore solution in there and close the lid all they way and shake then let sit in the dark at about 86 degrees. I have cakes that are over two months old and not colonized but the corn is usually ready to go after 7-10 days. No hole poking, no tyvek, no foil, yet I have had no contam.

Im gonna try to inoculate some new jars with colonized pop corn to see if I can speed it up even more.

And the strain is B+.

Are they fully submerged in water? Are they raised off the bottom of the pot at all? if not do you get burning issues.

I like the idea of totally submerged grains as all grains are at the same temperature so will take less time to sterilise, if you have a large autoclave bag full of grain you must allow extra time for the heat to penetrate to the centre.
I have thought about efficient use of time and tried pcing grain in water and then transferring to bags which I microwaved. While the bag is microwaving you have the pc on the go with more grain again.

I have a really large PC and I just take the grill out of the bottom and add about half a bag of kernels and pour about one inch of distilled water in. I have never had them burn to the bottom. I would suggest a little more water because last time i did that i took the lid off and there was no water left just a bunch of bloated kernels so I was probobly pretty close to burning them bad.

Then just dump them in a strainer and run water over them for about 20 seconds and put them right in the jars.
