There ya go

Nice pics, I think you may have slight overlay, nothing to be that concerned about. Just remember to stop misting once pin set occurs. Overlay happens when the mycelium is allowed to colonize after pin set. Hope this helps.

Ehhhhh? Your supposed to stop misting when you get pins????

Won't case dry out? Mine not in an aquarium... Doing the Shroom wizard tek.

Thanks

Well, I used Shroom Wizards casing tek too. I found that if you keep misting after pin set, overlay occurs. The casing over colonizes, pulls away from the container, and it becomes densely matted on the surface making it unresponsive to water and starts to dry out. You should really quit misting when you see mycelium pop through the suface of the casing. If you quit misting your casing won't dry out, it has plenty of moisture from with in it. Once it decides to pin, its saying "I have enough water to make mushies". Now if the air is dry and the furnace is on in your home, your casing probably will dry out if you don't mist it, and it will overlay if you do. So what I do to compromise this problem is stick the wizards trays in a hummidity tent/terrarium. This solved the problem perfectly, and enabled the casing to flush 4 times. The overlayed trays flushed once and then became too thick for pins to pop through, except along the sides/walls. I also found that when the trays aren't in a terrarium and they have their lids off, the mushrooms dry out, crack, peel etc...
