I recently read a post about banning cookie monster from eating cookies. well that sparked me up.

post how you think parents are failing(or doing their job) and about how todays society is worse off then it used to be(or counter that)

i like fat kids.

i have an friend who is considered "overwieght" though he he eats the same things i do every day, in fact, he gets more exercise than i do also.

why is being large bad?  the media and society is looking for blemishes to cover up the oozing sores.

parents biggest problem is stuffing the fridge and letting kids have 24/7 access to it, schools also have alot of shit

Your kids may not be fat, but many are because of bad parenting.

my dad didn't want kids and my mother wanted kids so she could make us suffer like she suffered as a child. Sort of like getting revenge... kinda explains how I turned out the way I am >=)

So yah, I think that my parents suck and most of my friends' parents have been pretty sucky as well... except Dustin's mother. She smokes weed with us ^-^

because most parents these days are pussy's wont even let they're kids out to play and run around causing trouble  till the sun comes down. i mean parents set up play dates nowadays :mad2:

My girlfriend's parents made it clear to her that she could eat anything she wanted, and that she shouldn't worry about health at all. She told me this as if it were a blessing. I let her know otherwise.

She's a little bit overweight, but the real problem is that now she can't control her cravings for junk food.

This is a perfect example of BAD PARENTING :nutkick:

IMO if a child is overweight by the age of 5, they will always have trouble with their weight.

I believe that by 5 their, metabolism/personality/chemical balance is programed.

When I met my wife she had a 5 year old girl (my 19 year old step-daughter now :heart: ) that was overweight.

My wife had to work long, crazy shifts at the hospital when she was little (before I married her and got her away from her crazy mother).

So my future mother-in-law kept her......alot

My mother-in-law :puke: did most of the damage by letting her have all the candy and sweets she wanted. :sad:

I remember picking my step-daughter up from :puke:'s house.....

with a large BABY RUTH ALMOST GONE!!!!!!!:machinegun::nutkick:


She got to see my evil-twin that day :hellfire:


I tried many times to help her loose weight. We never fried ANYTHING. Ate a lot of baked chicken, fish, lean beef, plenty of veggies. Got her a bike. Went on long rides. Everything I could think of to help her with her weight.

She never wanted to work hard enuf to loose much weight.


I have proved to her on many occasions that she could loose the weight .....but she will have to work harder to get....and keep.....the weight off.


She finally gave up and just decided to be fat.

I hate it to, cause their are many health risks to being overweight. High blood pressure and high cholesterol run in her family. Her mother and :puke: both have it.

I can see diabetes in her future too if she dosent get her weight under control by the time she is 25.

She is taking 20-30 years off her life by being too fat.

I'm only 38 so I have got 30-40 years left. I really dont want to have to bury her. :sad: But dont see her out living me...(baring some car wreck.)
