That's totally understandable. There is no way to prove where the info comes from. When I come across channeled info, I don't look at the "source" as much as I just look at the information or the message itself.

The source isn't as significant as the value of the info to me. I either feel like I scored some cool mind expanding stuff or like I got ripped off with mind closing toxins.

I am an information junkie, its my drug. I guess the same goes with actual drugs. Do you judge their quality by the dealer or by the drugs themselves? Some take you flying high to cool mind expanding places which generate awesome visuals, some are just pleasant and mellow and some put you on a hellish trip that leave you feeling like crap until you detox from them.

Channeled information is dying out though. More people are just sourcing their own info from their own intuition and are crediting themselves for it now. I like that better. It's time everyone who does to stop putting the discarnates up on pedestals above humans. We have access to the same stuff through our own hearts.

I read 1/10 of what I use too now. After a while, you start making the connection between what sorts of information can set off a natural chemical high and you can start generating those thoughts for yourself to access altered states of consciousness where thought streams of info you didn't know you knew just start to flow.

Ramtha was a great read to me. He's funny how he goes from being an unapologetic barbarian to waking up to the love of himself and connection with all of life. His shtick is, "If I can do it in one life time so can you." Then he just piles on the pick yourself up and empower yourself into the grander version of your potential stuff. He's about taking responsibility for the realities you create and saving yourself from your self.

Its an older book published in 1986 under the subject departments of Philosophy/Inspiration/Self Help

here are the reviews;

"A very extraordinary and exciting book"
Eileen Caddy, Findhorn Foundation

"A treasure Chest of eternal truths.....I celebrate the publication of this powerful book"
Wayne Dyer, author/speaker

"Uniformly profound in it's wisdom...coherent and smooth flowing...a delight from beginning to end."
William Harmon, author of "Global Mind Change"

"A book of the highest of levels....it makes even the most astute philosopher reach reach up, yet the writing is lighthearted, never ponderous....A Classic!"
Gwen Turner, Kosmon Voice

"It is time for the world to awaken to the reality of the divinity within mankind. I can't remember a better book for understanding that truth."
Elisabeth Lord, Inner Visions

"A vital reference manual, brilliantly executed...an impeccable mixture of drama and oratory well-laced with humor and beautifully turned picturesque phrases....Very convincing in the telling, this book deserves your attention".
Robert Monroe, Monroe Institute of Applied Sciences

"An unusual reading experience. Stimulating, provocative and empowering."
Joseph Vitale, author of "Zen and the Art of Writing"

"Fantastic! Ecstatic! This book is out of this world! Ramtha speaks in the tongues of angels. Positively exhalting!"
Fred Anthony Warren, USA Communications

Ramtha affirms the dignity and power of the human spirit in a way that will capture the fascination of both believer and skeptic."
David Faries, Concise Book Reviews

The book is only $12.50. More then worth it to me.

For real, it was such an uplifting book and I have read pert near a thousand in this subject area. I don't understand why Ramtha has been getting trashed here. Even if JZ made it up, it still is a very uplifting and empowering writing. As far as I am concerned, if any one read it and didn't enjoy it, then they had a hard time with the concept of "you create your own reality weather you are aware of that or not and that you even choose not to be aware of it for a time"

I guess I can understand why some are not ready to accept that if they have a crummy life.

Is it so hard to understand why in a safe place of eternal life as spirit one would choose to experiment on the physical plane with some false adversity to overcome for a spiritual challenge?

To each his own!

I just wanted to speak up to balance out all of the negative press its been getting here since that movie came out because I don't think it deserves it.

I invite you to read up on the Amazing Randi and his analysis of Ramtha. There are so many factual innacurracies in this lady's work that it is astounding. For instance Ramtha is from Atlantis? Come on, Atlantis was merely an intellectual device used by Plato...not a real place...so read up on him while your at it. Ms. Knight has ripped many gullible people for literally thousands of dollars...what an evil despicable person. Truth should be free, not bought. Selling a few books is one thing, but actually charging individuals in the thousands to hear this BS cannot be justified. Anyone who claims to sell spiritual truth sells only lies.

How do you measure the unknown against the known?

The source is incredibly important. If something totally new is presented, one has no way of gauging its accuracy merely by "feel". I can see students in college saying "This physics course is worthless because it doesn't sound right, nevermind that the professor was in charge of the world's largest particle accelerator..."

Auto-Summary
This forum post criticizes a book classified under Philosophy/Inspiration/Self-Help, questioning its placement in non-fiction sections and dismissing its spiritual and inspirational claims. The author argues that philosophical devices like Atlantis are subjective and not bound by modern physics. They defend the book's value, comparing it to inspirational works like Anthony Robbins' "Awaken the Giant Within" and the impact of art like Picasso's. The post emphasizes the subjective nature of inspiration and the importance of personal value in artistic expression, contrasting it with the author's criticism of the book. They also touch on the broader implications of suppressing creative and intuitive human experiences, likening it to historical suppression of artistic expression leading to the Dark Ages. The author concludes by defending the right to engage with and appreciate diverse forms of inspiration, regardless of their objective verifiability.

What is it that both you and Hue do not understand about a book written under the subject matter of Philosophy/Inspiration/Self-Help?

It is a fact that those words are written on the back of the cover.

I don't see a darn thing on this book that says it belongs in the non fiction section, let alone the spirituality or religious section. HELLLLLLLLLLO?

Since when is a book written under that subject matter of Philosophy/Inspiration/ Self-help suppose to be bound by provable facts and accuracy of modern physics?

So Hue, Plato used Atlantis as an intellectual device? Why can't JZ?

As far as spiritual truth goes, at least you Hue, know how subjective that is. Are you going to tell this board that there is only one right truth of spirit and that YOU know what it is?

I feel like I entered the twilight Zone here at S&P lately. I have the actual book. I have read the actual book. I have said, it was a very uplifting and an empowering read, well worth the 12.50 it costs.

You are throwing heresay at me Hue related to something I experienced first hand? You haven't even read it have you?

Rands job is to debunk claims of the paranormal right? How can he prove if someone lived in another human incarnation or not, especially in a place and time that is still considered a myth. No shit Rand can tear this book to shreds. It's not even a book geared towards the paranormal and if you would read it before making heresay criticisms you would know how out of the ball park your comments are. It reads very inspirationally is what it does.

I've read near a 1,000 different type of books from religious-spiritual-inspirational-self help-new agey-metaphysics-quantum consciousness-cosmic consciousness and the White Book I would say most closely read to me like Anthony Robins (motivational speaker) book called "Awaken the Giant Within".  Have you read that one? It was good and a on the best best sellers list. The White book was even better to me along the lines of being motivational and awakening the giant within. Anthony Robins charges a shitload for Motivational Seminars and his books cost 3 times what hers does.

The inspiration facet of the book is very artistically done. Like art that inspires us, the beauty of it is in the eye of the beholder. Some people pay hundreds of thousands of dollars for paint on a canvas because it inspires them and they appreciate it that much.

Are we not on planet earth anymore. That's how things work around here. Jiggy looks around? Looks like earth to me.

Do I think the guy who pays $800,000 for a Picasso abstract got ripped off? Subjectively speaking, YES! I wouldn't pay that for a painting that doesn't even look like anything remotely real. It's total fantasy. Yet, some people see truth in his work because it touches a place within them and moves them.

This is like you guys being critical of a Picasso you have never even seen and have given yourself a chance to be moved by it and place your own appreciative value on it.

Since when does inspirational art work have to be of a subject provable to be in physical existence?

The philosophy part is just that. It has a philosophy for living an empowered, self mastered, self lead life.

The inspiration part is just that. It inspires one to lift themselves up to realizing greater self potentials.

The self- help part is just that. It helps one to get beyond their self limiting beliefs and ideas so they can realize more then they ever thought they could.

I don't keep many books, when done, I give them away or sell them at used book stores. I bought this one about 7 years ago and have kept it because it was like a piece of artwork to me that was very inspiring.

No kidding swami, when I want to fix my car engine, i am going to look to the source of the car maker and use it's Manuel. The source matters when dealing with hands on stuff.

When it comes to stuff that inspires me, the credibility of the writer goes out the window and just doesn't matter. It either inspires me or it doesn't. That's a subjective, not objective thing.

It's looking like Micheal Jackson is a lying child molester and charged $1200 a ticket for a more current concert in New York. People paid it. He was sold out. His music is still great to dance to and can pump me up energetically speaking. There isn't much wither you are going to be able to do to stop people from appreciating artistic expression in this world.

Lets, see, the last time some tried that what happened.......we fell into the DARK AGES. What happened when the Renaissance which pulled man kind out of them occurred? People started to appreciate creative artistic expression again, through music, dance, art, and literature.

Swami, you were miffed when you were banned and your voice was silenced here. Hue, you were one of the biggest supporters for the freedom of speech and against silencing people when that happened. Why is it the two of you want to silence what this woman has to say?

If you two don't believe in anything that your 5 physical senses can't see taste, touch , hear or smell, that's okay. If you want to limit your life's experiences and what ideas you can entertain based on what your 5 physical senses and the left side of the brain can provide you, that's fine too.

Some people choose to experience life through an additional intuitive sense as well and engage in functions of the right brain also. There is nothing you can do to stop it. Why do you two want to oppress the intuitive creative and imaginative abilities of the human being that bring artistic inspiration to this life?

Bringing Rand into the picture to debunk a book that is clearly not classified as a non fiction book is just ridiculous. It's like Rand being proud he can debunk Darth Vader being real. Give that man a Blue Ribbon. How dooooooooes he do it.

He can't stop the group that set up an official Order of the Jedi religion in Australia. Who and what can oppress the human spirit and who or what wants to and why is the question? That is what is dark and dank here, not peoples efforts to uplift it.

Now, if you want to call it fiction, but say it makes a spiritual point through that device we got another matter altogether. Nothing wrong with that, BUT I still take issue with this person charging many people (with apparently more money than sense) big bucks for readings. There is no denying that this person has tried to pass themselves off as "real". On Amazon all of these books are not listed as fiction. My main problem here is that this person has been revealed as a known con artist. I have some issues with the Amazing Randi myself because he is a total skeptic in every regard concerning spiritual matters, but such people do serve to keep the bullshit cleared away. He usually debunks mediums, psychics, channelers, etc... who are living by taking monetary advantage of others. Yuri Gellar was a good example of this. Do not interpret my aggressive tone as a personal attack. I just have conviction in what I say...and yes I did read "The Adventure Begins" a few years back so I am not spouting hearsay, but personal opinion based on my current understanding.
