They are not poisonous. Please do not come here and spread urban legend.

You can eat them but they have no flavor and they will not make you sick. They are in the Pn. sphinctrinus complex.

yes i was not to sure about being poisonois but i do know 4 SURE they r not active, these mushies grow in colder with the cubes i noticed cuz this really good field i know of didnt have any cubes but had alot of those same exact shrooms, the way u described it, im just saying that these grow prov yr round and they r no good, when i first started hunting i did the same thing, brought it home and checked it out... and nothing tho, garbage,buzzy
