Its definitely bruising.

EDIT:: Cut a slice off that area and see if its green underneath.

If its been as long as you say, then it would've grown alot more by now.(if it was a contam=trich)

It's blueing. Your cake should be on a jar lid or foil or something, but not sitting on a tub of vermiculite like that. I see mycelium all the way by the side of the tub. That's a lot of wasted energy trying to colonize all that verm.
