The War on Drugs

I'm so scared that the drugs are going to win, and make us get stoned all the time. That's why I support our troops.

The war on drugs is such a failure and you know this. Low key users have a very small likelihood of ever getting arrested if they're smart, narcs get their legs broke, dealers are becoming more friendly with their customers either because of fear or just general good heartedness (IME).

They're never going to win, man. Never.

I support our troops because they would like to get high but most often can't and don't, so who else is going to "destroy" the drugs?

drugs are definatly bad and we must continue to think bad thoughts of drug users otherwise they will get us and make us bad with them.. so they are bad and they will go away and only good things will be left

That has nothing to do with the war on drugs. The only thing in common about the war and the war on drugs is it's a big fucking waste of money. Plus thanks to christian america there's not going to be a massive increase in drug use. I think your a little young because your brain hasn't developed common sense.

There's not going to be a massive increase in drug use, but not because America's so Christian. Lots of people who claim to be Christian do drugs, even some here on the Shroomery. An object in motion will stay in motion, and an object at rest will stay at rest, until an outside force is acted upon it. I doubt taking away the penalities for drugs will change people's minds about them enough to cause a noticeable increase in drug use, because to them they're still the same drugs, nothing has been changed but the law. The only thing that will cause a massive increase in drug use is a drastic cultural change.

In fact, that's what causes mostly any radical change nowadays.

I like the way you thought of that, so true. The christian America thing is about the influence most kids are brought up by. So more objects will start at rest, but outside forces can still break them. Not that I'm saying some parents teach there kids to use drugs, but once you bring hell and sin into the concept most kids will think negatively about drugs.
