Well maybe not exactly that... But I suppose they didn't get enough oxygen so the caps were all small and twisted, and the stems were just a giant mass.

Oh well, I thought to myself, the bluing reaction doesn't lie. And down the hatch they went. As I swallowed one piece whole, it got stuck in my throat and a nasty mushroom gag ensued.

After I somewhat painfully managed to get the chunks down, I proceeded to embrace this tingly feeling for which I can only put one name. Months ago I was able to enjoy the fruits of my labor, but since then, the chaos of everyday life brought me to no longer endulging in the fungus.

Finally, I thought, enough for a single dose. Such a rareity around here, I wondered if their availability coincided with my being ready for such things. I think so.

Now I sit here thinking, feeling, being. I disregard the fleeting moments that pass by, enjoying the luxury of a day off to relax with some tryptamines. Where am I going? Perhaps next time, I'll be afforded a high-dose trip. Until then, light visuals and a cool body high will remind me of the fortune that awaits anyone with a little bit of time and the right conditions.

Is this short-story material? I'm going to write a trip "story" this time around, and was looking to make it interesting to read.

Your time will come. I think tomorrow I might spend my Easter eating about 5 grams by myself. It's been a while since I did a big dose.
