Don't know to much about this mushroom...

My pops bought some from the super market and asked me about trying to clone it....I thought that i read about someone doing it before, they said getting spores was a no go, but making a clone :thumbup:

Just wanted to know what you guys thought about this mushie and if you could provide some info. about cloning store bought mushies, thankx

Not sure if it helps, but they're labeled fresh in a stryofoam plate type of plate, they're not in a jar or anything...would those work btw?

Isolate a clean peice of the flesh on agar and you can clone it.
Crimini = Portobello if left to grow.

Since I'm more use to agar, and never tried it, I don't know.
It looks like it would be more successfull on a wood-loving strain though.

Best idea is to try it  :laugh:  Then you can answer this question for others if they ask  :cool:
