Walking is good for you.

Low impact, and not to strenuous on an out of shape cardiovascular system, walking is a great way to help stay in shape.

I don't think this really belongs here, and someone already posted it in the pub.

I like to take a walk after eating breakfast. It helps get my blood flowing + wakes my mind up.

I usually do a slow jog for a few minutes at the end of the walk. I can't help it.

It is a good idea to take a walk after every meal for both the body and mind.

January '04 I weighed almost 230 lbs. Since then I haven't gotten all that much excersize except I just started eating better and walking a bunch. Definatly a great way to stay in shape or get in shape. I'm down to 180 lbs and i cant get over how great i feel.

a good way to get in shape is to sell your car and walk everywhere you need to go. Does not work for the beerbellied suburban dads, though. They need their four wheel drive to get to the city.

Props man. You SHOULD feel proud. That's a lot of weight. And given what you weighed before you can pretty much consider all the lost weight to be fat and gross junk.

Even when you're "fit" or smaller, walking's still awesome. I'm under 150 but pretty athletic, and walking never looses it's appeal to me. Sometimes I'm forced to walk after work each night but when I get home I feel awesome. I'll usually roll a joint or pack my pipe and some green and take another walk later. And on all my breaks at work you can get your ass I'll be walking somewhere.

It's awesome for both the body and mind... I don't know why I always see so many fatties bickering and moaning about their weight. IT'S NOT HARD TO WALK! I have no pity whatsoever. Neglect your body and it will neglect you. You're only given one vessel in this life time so take care of it, because no one else will. :smirk:
