I'm making a few time-lapse movies of spores germinating. Gawd, my neck hurts from staring into the scope for too many hours. The first pic below was taken on 1000x with oil emersion. You can see the internal structures within the cell wall. The second one is from 400x.

After watching several thousand spores germinate, finally a clamp connection has formed. I had to blur the focus on the spores to get the clamp into focus. The only way to get it any clearer would be to use dye, which would probably kill the mycelium. enjoy.
