Math Tutor
    #3956103 - 03/22/05 10:52 PM (11 years, 8 months ago)

I am an educated math student who has completed calc 3.  I'm thinking of placing an ad in my local newspapers offering my services as a math tutor.  i use to tutor in my college's math lab.  i'd teach up to calculus 1 with 2 hour sessions at 9.50 an hour.  what do you guys think?

I don't know "tutor" prices but that doesn't sound unreasonable to me man... but $19 a session is an odd price I guess... maybe more chance of them to just throw you a yuppie food stamp but that is unlikely if they work for the money they have. Most teens in my experiences are tight with the money they have... Just my 2 pesos man...

See I'm not into the whole tutor underground  so I didn't know that's how it went ....

19 a session wasn't a bad price just like I said the whole change thing is what people don't like from my experience... Sorry I know I'm not much help just thinking from many angles man

$9.50 is way too cheap. $20 is even quite a steal for tutoring. Charge more.

Are you serious. Nooo! I doubt a parent would pay me more than $15 an hour for tutoring math. Anymore comments?
