    #394345 - 09/14/01 10:56 PM (21 years, 17 days ago)

What the hell is going on?
My cakes already have that white stuff all over but I've only had two little shrooms come out. Are these cakes gonners.
Should I make some new jars al over again?
Please somebody help me out. I'm getting desperate here.

Sounds like poor terrarium conditions. I've had this prob before. Most likely your cakes won't fruit even if the prob was corrected right now, but crumble and case should work.

my neighbor's cat is very carefull to note signs of contamination whilst crumbling. do not crumble the second cake into the first untill you have carefully inspected it for contams, ie. bad smell? one part of the cake crumbles like dust while the rest is tightly held together, any color other than blue or white or verm-color.

you will learn from your failures. if in doubt, its time to bury in the yard.
