where do i get perlite? and about how much will it cost??? if i use this stuff do i still need to use a humidifier???

Perlite can be found at your local garden supply store. Perlite is relatively cheap, I get a rather large bag for $2.99 tax. No, you will not need a seperate humidifier to go along with your perlite. Perlite is a stand alone humidification technique. A good addition to the use of perlite is a small amount of H202, Hydrogen Peroxide, to reduce the buildup of bacteria in the standing water. 10:1 water:H202 is a good ratio for this.
