fault
    #3934560 - 03/18/05 07:51 AM (19 years, 15 days ago)

who is at fault?

If I do something that hurts you, is it your fault for being hurt, or my fault for doing it?

what if I do something to hurt you and then go laugh about it with all of your friends behind your back? Am I at fault, or are you?

I'm getting really tired of people trying to justify their shitty behavior towards me by simply saying: "Oh, you're just too sensitive. Its your fault. Never mind the fact that I was intentionally trying to hurt you. I am blameless. You are at fault."

that new age hippy bullshit ain't gonna fly, sweetheart.

I agree that new age hippies use that excuse to do whatever they want.

And thats great.

Because quite frankly I've had enough crap because of sensitive assholes having a fit, thinking that I'm trying to fag-bash them for no reason.

Reason: You *are* an asshole in every possible annoying little way.

You're even a fucking asshole for asking that stupid annoying question.

If I'm to blame for this shit, I'm taking you with me!

I had no idea that the majority of people who have a new age philosophy treat people like shit. You guys must have done some serious studies.

dude, watever. I've known a lot of so-called hippies in my life, and they have mostly tended to be self-righteous, lying, stealing, bums who waste all the gifts god gave them in the persuit of meaningless hedonism.

Most of the hippies from the 60's turnd into yuppies in the 80's. What does that tell you?

That tells me that for a brief peroid of time(the 60's), these people changed their thinking for the better but were re-brainwashed once the government smashed the movement and the rest of the world changed it's mind.

totally.

I dunno, I've never intentionally hurt a hippy, but a lot of hippies have intentionally hurt me. They havent done a very good job of pleading their case with me. I go to a jam band show and all I hear is "Can I bum a joint/ride/cigarette"? And the worst is when they look down on you for not conforming to their fashion code. They claim to be non-conformists, but they all wear the same hemp jewelry and tie dye... its like a fucking uniform.

I think most hippies are just greedy selfish bastards who use 'love is all you need' as an excuse to be hedonists at everyone else's expense.

have you ever seen all the trash that was left on the ground after a hippy festival? How many hippies stay to clean that shit up?

all play and no work makes a hippy a selfish asshole.

Fine, maybe the world would be better off without hippies. Maybe we'd be closer to utopia if everyone was like Fred Durst or something.

Tell me did you learn anything useful for your spiritual progress from those painful experiences? If someone punches you in the face, is it thier fault for punching you? Or is it your fault for having a physical body in the first place that can experience pain? The best answer to this question is neither.

Pain is absolutely necessary for personal growth and totally unavoidable in life. Personally i try not to harm any living being, but this is very difficult, I'm sure you harm many beings throughout the day without even noticing, so to act like your an innocent party in the cycle of suffering is false. What you can do is take responsibility for yourself, and try not to harm others. Are you angry with a crazy person if he/she causes you harm. No, because you know that they are not well or in their right minds, they are suffering from an illness and cannot control their actions.

If you find yourself getting angry because someone harms you, whether intentionally or not, try to remember this famous line that Jesus once said, i always find this very helpful.

"Forgive them for they know not what they do" - Jesus

I have practiced Aikido for the past 6 years im pretty sure you would only hit air. If i let you hit me then that would be harmful for you, becuase you would be creating alot of negative karma for youself, so i would not let you do that to yourself.

Pain comes from greed and attachments. You can learn how to live without the two. So not every life has pain.
Pain is an indicator that you are doing something wrong.
