midget mushies

This is my first time growing shrooms so I picked Golden Teacher. The cakes started pinning about two weeks ago but the mushrooms are only about two inches tall. Any thoughts why? From what I've heard they are supposed to grow very quickly once they start.

moisture adn nutrietns. possibly not enough O2. what tek are you using?

I'm using the pf for simple minds. I have them sitting on moist perilite so the humidity is very high but the o2 could be low.

just make sure to fan a couple times a day. could be not enough moisture in your cakes. after a flush try dunking a couple.

You need plenty of fresh air exchanges, while maintaining proper rh%. (humidity)

Takes experience to get it down to near perfection.

the caps have opened on the current flush so should I harvest or let them rock out and try to squeese a few cm out?

IME, I would go ahead and harvest when the caps break loose frome the veil real good, but before spore dropping.

In other words, I'd harvest when the caps open up.
