Well....what do you think of Fox News? Do you like it? Hate it? Respect it? Don't respect it? Why do you feel the way you do about Fox News?

A Fox News broadcast is like one long commercial; they aim to win their unlucky audience over with snarky cliches, plastic faces and silicon breasts. If you want a slanted view on world events and don't mind deliberate marketing tactics being used on a news program, Faux News is for you.

FOX News is good. Ole Rupert Murdoch is a "conservative" supporter.

Well...I have to run now, so I won't write down all that I think of Fox News. I'll give you a brief summary though:
10% of it is good and 90% of it is bad.

It taints our collective unconscious and is a 24 hour promotion for a plastic, menopausal, bible thumping state of mind. It helps to delay our evolution as a species even further.

I think it's funny and terribly ironic how blantantly they peddle their political agenda while at the same time using phrases like "fair and balanced" or "We report, you decide."

I used to like FOX news when they first started because I was so sick of the slant of the other news media. However, I quickly soured on FOX as most of those on display are mentally robotic and shallow in their thinking. We need a free-thinker channel...

I would imagine free thinkers would do their own research rather than having some news anchor tell them how it is.

There are only so many hours in the day. I used to watch the McNeil/Lehrer NewsHour because of their no-nonsense approach to reporting. I would rather just have the facts. These days I find the only 'news' program I can tolerate to be The Daily Show as they highlight the absurdity of EVERYONE.

Exactly.
At first I was thrilled that a conservative leaning news organization came into being merely because I thought they could jab at the Left-dominated media somewhat. But, Fox News became the most biased, jingoistic, and idiotic thing on cable tv.
I think that the Maury show has more respectable content.

I'd have a lot more respect for Fox if it changed its production style. It's currently just a cheap tabloid of a news network. All flashy graphics and loud commentators and gossip. And it has the balls to sell itself as a respectable news organization.
I have absolutely no issue with biased journalism, as long as it doesn't lie to the public about where it stands. For a news network to have its slogan be a flat out lie is really sickening. If Fox had branded itself 'A Fair Alternative to the Slightly Liberal Media' or 'Licking Pale Conservative Ass' or 'An Exercise in Corporate Tyranny' I'd probably watch it regularly.

The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. They don't actually make that many jokes on the show and will often just speak the truth the whole time. And everyone laughs because they know Jon isn't supposed to be exposing things like that...

I'm starting a cult based on its teachings. Fox News speaks the "TRUTH".
-------------------- "Their is one overriding question that concerns us all: How can we get out of the fatal groove we are in, the one that is leading towards the brink?" Albert Szent-Gyorgyi "We may not be capable of eradicating the corruption of reason, but we must nevertheless counter it at every instance and with every means." Dan Agin "Politics is the best religion and politicians are the worst followers." -It's ok to trip as long as you don't fall. -Substance over Style. -Common sense is uncommon.

Another denomination of it... I need it for tax purposes.
