Then perhaps you should do more reading.
-------------------- You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity. What one person receives without working for another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for that my dear friend is the beginning of the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it. ~ Adrian Rogers

In reply to:
"You just claimed to favor funneling billions of dollars from poor tax payers in to socialist utopia programs. That is bold to admit. "
He never said that. Very weak Railgun.
Yes he said it. Your logic is weak, I'l help you understand a little. If A=B and B=C then A=C. The statement was made that Instead of using billions taken from workers to use for weapons and national security he'de prefer it go to various socialist programs for the betterment of those who were taxed, or the 'common people'. He never said he didn't want those people taxed, simply that he wanted the money redirected to his pet socialist programs. No hint of tax relief for working people. Just the arrogant belief that the goverment knows how to use the tax payers money better than the taxpayer does.
We contend that for a nation to try to tax itself into prosperity is like a man standing in a bucket and trying to lift himself up by the handle. --Winston Churchill

Alex123 writes" No I'd prefer living in a world where instead of funnelling endless billions from poor taxpayers into rich corporations in the name of "defence", it was spent on infrastructure, the environment and improving the quality of life for ordinary people"
Please show me where it says socialist utuopia. Stop imposing yourself on others text just to try and further your arguement.
