Come to the USA, if you can't find some kind of job in about 30 minutes, then you are probably pretty dumb or live out in the most rural area ever

Anyone in the US who says they cant get a job is not looking very hard.

Uh, 361 days a week? You mean year? 40 hours a week for 361 days isn't that much per day.

Actually in parts of the US it can be almost impossible to find a job depending on area and qualification, like a 28 year old guy whos graduated college with a degree can usually find a job easy but say someone like me whos 18 and hasnt completed school yet its a whole different story, its actually kinda hard for us "dumb teenagers" to find a well paying job.

get an education.
That does help.
But, in my area it won't. There are no jobs. Even the jobs that require a degree don't pay well.
Right after my mom graduated college she went and interviewed for a job. She had a bachelor's degree in accounting and minors in finance and international business. She graduated with a 3.98 GPA(she got all A's and one B in college). At this first job that she interviewed at(where she would be the head of an accounting department), they offered her $6.50 an hour. The economy in my area has been horrible for about thirty years now.
Needless to say.....she had to move to another area to get a good-paying job.
I saw a statistic in the local paper recently. In one of the local school districts, 70% of the children live under the poverty line. I am related to a teacher who teaches in this school district. She says that she collects shoes to give to the kids because they don't have decent footware when they come to school.
Of the people that do work around here(which aren't too many...most are on public assistance), they are lucky if they earn more than six or seven dollars an hour.
There is no future for anybody in my little town. White trash has overtaken the demographic makeup of the area. Anybody with any ambition has moved away.
It is very depressing.

well in that case I guess there's no alternative but moving. Be like the nomads, and move out of that herdless village.

Yeah my friend earnt his degree in Buildings Surveance, he now has a ?20,000 debt to Uni and credit agencies and to top it off no job
I don't think education is the soul answer.
Becoming self employed sounds good but I don't know what or how and it would have to earn enough to pay an accountant!

I work two low-paying jobs. However, I'm always on the lookout for alternative forms of income. My advice to anyone going into the manufacturing, telecom, research and development, and accounting areas of employment is to get a background in somethings else. ALL those jobs will be outsourced in the next decade. Thanks a lot corporate American government.
