A friend and I just finished inoculating our 8 petri dishes, 3 with Spore Works PES Amazonian, 3 with SW B+ and 2 with Mexican Jalisco Strain. We?ve coated them in parafilm and put them inside individual bags. I need to know if should I remove them out of the bags or if will it be fine to incubate them in these airtight zip-locks...?????????

I used a closet once setup a nice little lab trouble was all the shit that was in there ended up in the bedroom that pissed off the GF then I ended up dumping her as she was getting in the way of my sterile culture technique! Ya I got priorities too!!!"

I guess it is impossible to inoculate them without some of the spore solution (when using syringes) running to the sides of the petri dishes. Will that make it easier to cont. the dishes?

try using electrical tape
I seal my dishes with it...and put them in ziplock bags.
works great.

I just get a roll of Wreynolds Clingwrap (breathable brand, not saran wrap) and cut off a 2 inch section off the end. Got a nice mini roll of breathable stuff. Wrap around twice and just pull and itll stretch and cling to itself. Never had contam problems. Not that you cant leave them as is. If these two say your fine then you are, I just go the easier route whenever possible
