casing tray and ultrasonic humidifier

Hey everyone, my friend was wondering what type of casing trays do you guys use? because he is tired of using the cheap aluminum one, he wants one that is very sturdy and resuable. He said when we went to walmart he saw a lot of rubbermaid tupperware, but the only problem was that their clear... Do you guys think that might confuse pinning onthe casing or anything, or maybe he can go to the paint section at walmart and just spray the outside of the tupperware? or will it have some kind of chemmical affect or paint might chip off the tupperware?

Last question, my friend asked what type of ultrasonic humidifer do you guys use? He's looking for like below... something that you dont have drill a hole on the water tank thing but a nice clean pvc extension he can just put in the hole where water sprays.

goto the dollar store. they have awsome 14quart black dish tubs. Perfect!

I use Gladware Deepdish containers. They come 3 a pack. Very reliable.

As for ultrasonic, I use the Reli-On. I took the plastic output out and covered it with plexi, and drilled a whole for a fitting and attached my tubing to that.

Citric,isn't your gladware deepdish containers see through? Did you do anything special to block the light on the sides?

No need. The light is hung directly from the top. The only light they get is from above. I never had any problem with side pinning.

if your really worried about the sides of the container, just wrap it with foil or duct tape....this way you can also peek at the bottom to heck for contams and what not.
