Perlite AND Ultrasonic Humidifier?

First time grower. I have 9 jars colonizing like crazy and will be ready for birthing in abouta week.
I have MMGG & perlite humid.info. I am ready to use the Ultrasonic Humidifier method/ coke bottles for condensation
bla bla.. I was planning on putting the perlite at the bottom of both the styrofoam cooler
and the 20gal plastic bin/drains/drip shield. Should I use just the wire mesh at the bottom or
try the perlite/humidifier combo? Too wet? I have Hygrometer and timers for humidifier.
Am I asking for a soaking wet mess and contams? Also planning on leaving cake on jar lids
and putting the hydrogen peroxide in water with perlite.

It'd be "OK" with both, but also a waste. I'd go with either or. No need for a drip shield, unless you plan on spraying.
