Terranium Humidifier - use Hydrogen Peroxide or no?

Should I use a mixture of water/hydrogen peroxide in my humidifier for the terranium? I have always used the mixture in the past for caking, but I'm not caking anymore. Will the mixture affect the vapor process? Will it damage my humidifier? Is it recommended? Thanks!

I think it is recommended to keep the water fresh either way. I've seen people recommend using something like a 1/4 cup 3% solution (regular store bought) per 2 gallons or so of water. Since the water in your humidifier sits around so much it makes sense to try to minimize contamination.

I usualy add a litle H2O2 to the perlite, it helps prevent algae development as well as other contams....in the breakdown it gives off oxygen and converts to water....

Use normal purified water is good enough. No need to add H202. Perlite, yes add H202, I dont, so its not mandatory.
