want to grow white button shrooms

i want to grow some white button shrooms and cant find info on it. i found some kits to grow them but want to grow them myself without ordering a kit. i would appreciate any help. :))) thanxs

They are grown mostly on a specially prepared compost made from straw, horse manure, gypasum, cottonseedhulls and other ingredients.

Another way, without composting, is the so called Till substrate(I think), main ingredients are straw and cottonseed hulls. This substrate has to be sterilized.

They need low temperatures(16?C) and good air exchange to fruit.

I would advise you to buy The Mushrooms Cultivator if you are serious about growing them.
