casing questions. yet again

when crumbling cakes and casing, does the mycelium wear out after the first flush?

if so does it wear out b/c of a lack of nutrients, i.e. would a 50/50 casing last longer than a straight-verm one?

A xasing usually produces 3-4 flushes, sometimes even more.
I once had a GT casing in my terrarium for 6 months fruiting every 10-14 days.

Rye grain cased with 50/50+ casing, also birdseed works well and coco coir as casing.
