FYI , res tek after the fact

Last week I asked about injecting water into my cakes while they were pinning.
I was a bit nervous about blowin the whole thing. (my third crop only-still a newbie)
Ralphster44 suggested a whole 10cc's be injected. I also drilled a hole into
one cake as an experiment .. a reservoir tek after the fact..All the cakes were injected
with 5-10cc's at first. I got lots of shrooms in 2 days. I've injected water in each cake
every day. I poked into top, bottom, side. Sure they blued where poked..but I kept growing
more and bigger shrooms every day. The one I drilled the hole down into and filled with
water everyday produced the most. It was a cambodian. I also took 4 Eq cakes that had
been injected, and crumbled them for casing. To my surprize they weren't soggy or moldy
inside.(finchseed/brf) They were just perfect with no damage. Three are still flushing, every night
I add water, and they grow 2 inches overnight! What a thrill! Thought I'd share this injecting
water info. I will do that instead of dunking from now on.

This works well --- also works for casing --- FOAF used to inject his casings directly with about 50 cc's of water - all four corners and center - after 3rd flush or so when action started to slow down - that really gets 'em goin' again. Of course, for casings, a good heavy watering has the same effect.

I wonder how much an injection of sterile honey water would help a casing or a cake after the 3rd flush? Well we shall see.

What i was talking about was that weight gainer stuff you get from Health food/Body building stores. It's high in preotien and vitamines and has little or no fat and sugars.

I'll probably get to injecting some cakes with honey water this week. I just bought this new powdered honey I found awhile back and I'm gonna try it for a few different applications. It will definately make measuring alot easier.
