Maintaining proper humidity...

I just recently posted another question on humidity that turned out to be a faulty hygrometer. Thanks for helping me figure that problem out....Now, how does one maintain the higher humidity levels for pinning when one shuts off the heater to induce the temperature shock to signal the pinning phase? HELP....

Yes, use perlite if you want to keep a simple setup.

And another thing that is good news for you.... the lower the temperature, the less humidity the air can hold. So by dropping temperature, humidity rises and is easier to maintain.

You can learn a lot by watching those fat weathermen on TV.
