Picky Stomach

After just taking 5 shots in 5 minutes something dawned on me. Even in my "gangster" like ways, my stomach doesn't handle hard A like others can. For instance my girlfriend who is deathly scared of spiders and thousands of other things can hold her hard alcohol down better than I can even though I drink much more than she does. (I know I have a problem and am seeking treatment) =)

Maybe its because she drinks the hard stuff and I stick to my malt liquor. I'm not sure. I have the heart for the hard A but not the stomach. For instance Ill regurgitate a big shot into my mouth, then swallow it. My stomach says no, but my heart says yes.

Then Ill eat 5grams of mushrooms without a "chaser" and never have a problem with them. On the same concept I see people throwing up all around me when they eat mushrooms "freebased".

Can anyone offer me some scientific knowledge as to why my stomach likes a very untasty mushroom compared to an equally untastey alcohol? Keeping in mind I love 211 which most consider "gut-rock"?

In my immature years it was almost an embarrassment. I have always been the "hell Mary" person, willing to venture far into the unknowns of 'drug abuse' than many others. Addiction doesn't compel me, rather curiousity and the willingness and braveness to seek a different state of mind. In my later years I have come to accept my stomach's tolerance to hard alcohol.

so...why doesnt my stomach like the hard shit?

Consider it a blessing. The kind of blessing that means you will never drink too much liquor and act like a complete ass. :smile:
