Can I watch my cable channels on my computer?
It's on a cable motem and it's on the same line as my cable.

I'm pretty sure you need a tv card (a video card with television inputs and possibly outputs).

yes, you'll need a tv tuner card. ATI's all in wonders are good, and ATI also came out with a HD one for the computer. You'll need a splitter on the coax line. I'd suggest a 1000mhz splitter, because your cable modem is also on that coax line, and you want to lose a little signal as possible.

I got an Aver TV stereo PCI card and i love it. It was cheap too, under 50 bucks. I capture/watch tv on my 21 inch monitor in my room. I dont even need a real tv in here.
