As for ticket prices:


TICKET PRICE: Tickets for BONNAROO 2005 are priced at three levels.
The first tickets will be priced at a special rate of $146.50 each. There is a limited allotment of tickets at this price. When the initial allotment is sold out, ticket prices will increase without notice to $161.50. After the second allotment is sold out, the ticket price will increase without notice to $172.50.

I can go to a college town and see that
small fest's all the way
the onlly way I will go is if a few friends wanna go and they bye my ticket other than that a waste of money
I have seen all of those bands enough
the only ones I would like to see their is really SCI and Keller

Well, I am hitting up as many panic shows as I am able, plus a few festivals that I haven't decided on, yet. I am planning on catching a leg of the Dead, too, but I don't know when or where, yet. It is all too early to say, exactly. You know anything, yet?

That's not bad for tix. I'm using part of my tax return to buy the ticket. Last year I used my whole tax return either on supplies or stuff while I was down there. Money is no issue for me, I'm going for sure.

i dig the bonnaroo lineup though i hope alot of the bands added rock. i'm stoked about modest mouse...and toots. i really want a tent that is sts9 and particle alternating... allthetime. that would be phat. it's unfortunate that blissedout and i have different opinions on wsp. i like them ok but i can't see them much. i used see them alot and i got tired of it. i still like it just not as much as my lovah. so we won't be seeing much of each other this summer =( i wanna go see a bunch of shows...just some other band =) preferably the dead with no fuckin warren haynes. rockin out...

I've been to all of them so far and have always had a great time, although it seems to be a little worse every year....actually the second one was fine but this last one was frustrating at times. I decided i wouldn't go this year unless the line up was something special, which it is. My favorite new group: Mars Volta is there against all odds, Modest Mouse, STS9, and of course plenty of bonnaroo/jam band regulars.

I swear...it seems like they do everything i tell them to. like they really listen to what people say in those surveys. Last year i sent them an email telling them to put ween and primus in late night slots, and they did. and then for this one i suggested Modest Mouse, Mars Volta, and STS9 in the survey, and they are all on the initial list. HAHAH I feel like i owe it to them to go based on this alone...great minds think alike i guess :shrug:

hard to describe....powerful and mind blowing are good adjectives i think... It's like heavy rock music that is very psychedelic and geared towards live improv...psychedelic heavy metal prog rock improv.. heheh

i think the mars volta is the remnants of what used to be at the drive in...i don't know if their sound resembles that band at all, i've never actually listened to them...heard good things about it though

the mars volta have a very unique sound, incorporating odd musical breakdowns, pauses and beats with the singer of ATDI, makes for a great musical deliverance of creativity and angst :smile:
