DB kit's outside

Will DB kits do just as well outside as inside? I can put them wher there is hardly any wind and it's in heavy shade 24/7. will this work ok?
Another question, how much worm castings can i spawn with 12 quart jars? (all 1/2 full) could i do 50 lbs or better stay with 25 lbs?

DB kits will not work outside......if it rains......if bugs get in........fruit flies are terrible this time of year.......temps usually not that stable, etc etc etc.
