Can you do this with colonizing jars? * 1
    #358680 - 07/22/01 06:47 AM (23 years, 2 months ago)

I have 10 pint jars of either rye or rice + verm/water and they are colonizing painfully slowly (no more than 20% after nearly 3 weeks).
I actually have more jars than I have space to case . . . can you just take the colonized parts of several jars and combine them so I can get the casing started earlier?
Has anyone else experienced telekinesis with a saltwater aquarium?

1)is there room in the jars to shake them? they may be too dry

2)all the time. wish the fish would shut the fuck up and go to sleep. I have the Musdrinkanparti allthetimus or "party fish" thats probably why

Bill-
Thanks for responding. Yes, I can shake them. Should I do it just one good time, daily, or . . . .?
I still haev the question about combining partially colonized jars. Anyone know the answer to this one?

In reply to:

yeah, just once then it should finish if the moisture is right.

theoretically it's possible if you're very clean. it seems like it would be easier to contaminate this way.
