methanol vs. safety

i know it may sound kinda moron question but
can anybody give me some hints/tips on how to evaporate methanol with _safety_ with common, cheap and easy to find items?

well i have a heating mantle, but the safest meth for evap. would have to be a lamp and a fan.

A childhood friend who is a Ph.D. in molecular biology and genetic engineering at Cornell University advised me long ago NOT to imbibe ANY amount of methyl groups. Acetic acid can be used for mushroom extracts, as can ethyl alcohol. Methyl groups, be they from methanol or MDMA or any other source are quite simply poisonous to the human organism.

yup, its pretty toxic shit if you dont get it all out of it...
i chose it because it seemed to work better, according to a study i read on the net, even better than ethanol/vineagar (acetic acid)... but it seems that i'd take a lifetime to evaporate the extract made with acetic acid/water... (besides a lil alkaloid degeneration)....
well, if you dont see me write any more posts is because i died =)

(1) Pour methanol solution of "whatever" in a stainless steel mixing bowl.

(2) cover w/ fine cheesecloth to keep out dust & bugs. (Secure cheesecloth tight across top w/ string around the bowl rim).

(3) Place outdoors on a hot sunny day, until all methanol has evaporated off.
