what are my chances...to colonize...

what are my chances of mixing some brf with water and putting it in a jar and boiling it in a pot for a few minutes then injecting it with spore water, and putting it on my desk to colonize, Im anxious to squirt a little bit in a small jar before I will all the equipment to properly colonize, (p.c. , jars, etc) I think I may do this. Also what are the ideal temp that one should colonize their jars at, is room temp ok? where do you all colonize jars at? just sitting out in the open is alright? Maybe in a box with lysol sprayed around it to keep it clean? help me...

ummm everything you said, just forget it. Why don't you go read a tek or something? Your at the shroomery for my cats nutz sakes. Well I hope that helped. Read the tek then ask questions.!..!...!.!!

Yeah, I agree with Bubenis Cubensis. It sounds like you don't really know what you are doing.
A) you can't just use brown rice flour. B) once you have it in the jar you have to boil it for a long time.
C) you have to let it colonize in a cupboard or something. In nature mycelium grows underground with little
to no light. D) You don't have to put it in a box with lysol. If you put a half inch of dry vermiculite at the top it should be fine contamination wise. Even with the holes in the top.
I suggest you read the MMGG. Read the whole thing.
