Kratom is consumed as a dried leaf, usually brewed into a hot beverage. It tastes terrible.

It has significantly different effects depending on dosage.
At low doses, it makes you feel awake, active, and mildly stoned - an overall pleasant experience.
At higher doses, it makes you feel sick, groggy, and really fucked up - some people prefer this, but not me.

its opiate-esque with a tryptamine pineal buzz...thats why its liked :smile:

I don't have any problem dumping 6-8 grams of powder in my mouth and just washing it down with hot water :shrug:

it's really not that bad, just bitter from the goodness, but lemon juice and sugar helps that, don't get rid of your 'tom one time, it is worth it.

It is a tryptamine that also effects the Mu and some other opiate receptors.

It's not like nutmeg at all....!    I have never gotten sick, or headachey (even after 7gr "high potency powder") from it, but could not stand the tea taste either....  Capsules are a Godsend....  :smirk:

Low dose = stimulant
High dose = opiate effect

Strange how that werks~....    It is good inspiration for playing an instrument or creative writing....  Or just getting buzzed if that is what you like....  :tongue:

I wonder if there has been a book written about Kratom (I have not looked yet).... There seems to be a book about everything, and this seems to be a very commonly used plant ethno.... They have Yohimbie even in the "Psychedelic Encyclopedia" with a small page about it's MAOI activity and aphrodesiac properties.... And the search for knowledge pushes on....!
