my first time here i have a question i have never seen anything on this    topic,i have been shrooming all season for cubes and since it got cold i decided to bring some mycelium covered poo inside i broke them up and cased them it spread and has fruited several mushies is this agood idea, is there any chance of conamination,has anyone done this?  :confused:

hum, nature has a way of killing bacteria, I'm not sure if what you have done is completly safe, but I am un experenced with dung
one example of this was said by a member here before, toss a peice of bread on your lawn and a week later (if it's still there) it will be a hard brick, toss it on the floor of your room and leave it for the same amount of time it will not even be recognizable

sounds like your only growing for personal use so I would recommend surfing this site daily for a week or two to see if cultivation is right for you, there are many simple methods that can be very effective for personal use grows, they are cheap and yeild more than enough to keep you tripping,

because your a noob, i recommend starting with PF-Tek, just do a search for this and keep reading, dung, straw, grain all are mainly used for bulk grows and use slightly more expensive equipment, so start whith PF-Tek and see if your readyto move up.

I thought it might get contaminated i am going to try pf tek for the first time just did this for the hell of it, it has produced some nice shrooms no signs of contams. so far.

has anyone done this i know it will probably Crap Out it was for fun anyway but how long will it produce shrooms it seems to me the mycelium will stay dominate as long as there is nutes.and water i see nothing but mycelium and pins its pinning like crazy now,been growing over a week.just thought it would be cool to try.

Ive heard and seen this done before, take a few prints of of them and start growing. They are more than likely perfectly safe.

well even if i cant take prints thats ok ill just order a spore syringe, its good to know they are safe to consume.no contams,just woke up and checked on the tub still producing new pins.
