grayish uniform color on substrate?

out of 10 birdseed pint jars, 2 of them have the compacted bright white brf/verm looking mycelium... the others are almost completly colonized in an off white mycelium. i'm sorry i can't send you a picture... the substrate looks like its going through the normal process but the color is not bright white.... more of a tint of brown or gray uniformly around the entire jar.... what do you think??? all were 15psi for 70 min at the same time.......
