I... (please dont hurt me)... *skimmed* through the huge list of contams in the sticky posts, but I couldnt really find what i wanted answered... So, heres a pic of what may, or may not be contams... it seems brownish yellow.. like the same color as the cake but looks like its myc (except color)... so heres a pic..

and i've already seperated the two cups from the good lookin ones, but i dont really know.. for all i know its undeveloped & transparent myc, for I am but a noob at this..

Hard to be sure; Sometimes overly-wet or overly-dry substrate can make mycelium not look textbook-white. I can see the tan color, but it's hard to say. Give it a little time and see if things firm up. If the color deepens, or if the texture continues to look 'off', it may need to go.

On second glance, it looks more like it might have to go :frown:  But wait and see.

It looks like the yellow/orangish brown rusty contam that i got when i did white flour to tried to do some jars.

It has a definate dust look to it, which is exactly what that contam first looked like when it happened to me. What kind of susbtrate did you use?
