incubator and fruiting chamber question

i set up two tubs with plexiglass top and a daul air pump going into to each tub. i had planned on using these for the incubator and the fruiting chamber... but should i put the water and perlite in there while incubating or wait til fruiting. will the water and humidity bother the incubating process? should i add bleach or rubbing alcohol to the water to cut the contams down? if so how much? (by the way i am using the pftek method with hiwian pes) any help would be greatly appreciated

you should wait to add perlite/water till you are fruiting.

Yes the humidity can bother the incubation process. It can create an excellent environment for mold..not a good idea. If you use tyvek or polyfil in 99% humidity it can get mold growing on the top. You also don't want light during incubation. The temps should be differentas well. These are VERY different environments your trying to simulate. Incubation..ambiant rh, 84 degrees and no light. Fruiting..95-99% rh, 74 degrees and light 12 hours a day or so.
