Fruiting chamber sterility question.
    #588103 - 03/24/02 12:34 PM (22 years, 9 days ago)

Hi all,
I'm just about ready to birth some jars and my question is,
How sterile should my fruiting chamber and perlite be?.
Would a couple of glugs of h202 in my perlite do the job?.
Thanks.

Yeah you can add some h202 to the perlite...once the cakes are fully colonized you dont need to worry as much about sterility. After a flush or two though be a little more carefull.

I always add a good glug glug glug to the water that I submerge the perlite in. A good ratio is 10:1 (water:peroxide).
