Vermiculate Sub

Alright, I've turned my town upside down and can't find vermiculite. Is there a substitute I could use? Or place I could learn more about subs? What about filter discs? What are those? Thanks for the help!

Here`s a garden supply with a lot of materials  including Vermiculite....also Coconut fiber which is an excellent casing material... even better than peat moss...hope this helps you out :smile:http://www.discount-hydro.com/growmediums.asp

Nothing does the job of vermiculite like...vermiculite. If you're really desperate, you can order some from the SporeLab. Filter discs are little accessories that are not really needed.
