What is the minimum fanning required to keep the mushies from suffocating in the CO2?

Will once every 2 days suffice for mere survival?

I'm sure they'd probably survive but optimal is 2-3 exchanges/hr. I believe. You'd probably just greatly hinder growth.

As far as i know they just grow long/stringy with high C02

Yes ,contams can live with that much CO2 :yesnod:

"mere survival" HA, your contams wont just survive, they will thrive.

Unless you are doing double tubs etc, Fan 3-5 times a day. Everyday.

There is not a single mention of contams in this thread.

I am not doing a double tub, but my container has 28" above the casing layer, about the same as a double tub, and I am setting it up as if it were a double tub. But does a double tub require that there be an air current outside the tub or does the oozing out of the CO2 pull in O2?
