I found another patch of cyanescens today. (Update)

Took a walk, first one in five days and found some nice cyans. Some were pretty hugh and others short. and hundreds of pinners, but then i cannot rely ont he pinners still being there in two or three days. Someone will come along and find them.

But my battery ran out so i was only able to take about six images.

Here are two.

The first is an extended image of many witht he caps tyurning flat and becoming slightly undulated and minutely wavy.


And a single hygrophanous cyanescens cap with cool color change.

Here is yet another image from this Thursday morning walk.



Hope they are still there on Monday when i go back to check. They should be bigger or at least a few inches taller. And then again maybe not. Usually when something comes up and is opened, the sproes are already dispersing and the shroom is just living its life. Until someone comes along and rips is feet fromt he groound.

Oops! Posted another image and thought that it would go to the top of the page. IT was on page theree real fast. So hence there is now another of the few images i was able to take because my battery ran out.

At times when I see the big haul of wet mushrooms people pick...I wonder what they do with all those mushrooms. I'm talking about by the pounds.
