Part Two: Tuesday's Cyan Patch Mother-Lode in a Lawn (Pics)

Well I must say I really surprised myself this morning.
Plus my daughter came to visit for an hour.
I had just left thwe last woodchip patch hoping no one would pick the pinners and decided to walk a little in thee neighborhood where I was at. That is a place where people live who have a lot more money than I do.
What is surprising is that this was along a house/home garden lawn where dozens of people walk by every day.
They were unbelievabley scattered in clusters amongst tall grass in groupings as observed by the last image on this page.
I first shot only one of a three foot lawn section. Some of the caps were two inches in diameter onthese beauties. Unfortunately for me, my battery died in the camera before I could take a lot of images. Took only about thirty images of this big crop before the bat died.

A close-up from the above image:

They were all over the grassy knoll. I was ecstatic. I was elated.
I flew, I laughed. I said thank you to the Lord and to Buddha and to Allah. And to the north, South, East and West. I really had great communion this day.
Praise be ye shroom of my sitght.
Here see for your self and pray for some rain.

And here is an image I like a lot. It shows the way they were growing in the tall grass with long stems. Some stems were soooo fat.

I await the next pitter-patter of tiny droplets falling from the skies to the Green Green Grass of Earth and that is where my children come from.
have a smerious shroomy day.

Lovely find & pics.
Hopefully this will encourage all those people desperately seeking alder chips, that they can be found growing elsewhere.

BTW,
the cyans were growing from mulch below the grass and the grass was planted with soil above the mulch.
They were all so beautiful.
But I love the last image. It is almost too perfect.

Nice find. I'm gonna try to get out tomorrow on the bus and see what I can find. I have a few spots nearby that I have yet to check.
