Hi,
since 1.5 weeks I'm growing Psi. zapotecorum, cultures from wild specimens I found in Oaxaca... So we can share info if you like...
Elektrolurch
p.d. I also found another mushroom which could be Psi. wassinorium. But I have to wait for the photos...

Hi,
I'm starting. I have just now gained some pure cultures from fruitbodies. But I'm planning to use a mixture of loam, straw and coconut as a substrate. I hope it works...

What do you mean with mazatecorum? Do yo mean Psi. caerulescens var. matatecorum. I got a sporeprint of caerulescens and of Psi. aztecorum of CluB99 (thanx a lot Club...) and they germinated today on agar....

Do you want help with these cultures. I have a friend that would devote some time to isolating a cultivatable strain. He also has some strains that he needs help with. Also some that he has developed with extreme success. These beuties are priceless obviously.

Hi,
thanx for your offer, but I don't think I'll need help ;)
From the zapotecorum I have about 20 pure, most probably fruitable cultures (won from fruitbodies) and from the aztecorum and caerulescens it shouldn't be a problem to get some...

Hi,
believe me I would spread those babies, but they could be difficult to cultivate, so they couldn't become popular...
Elektrolurch
p.d. btw the locals report that they are very strong...

Some of us love these species that present a challenge :) Especially ones that we have read about for the past 20 years, but unfortunately not had access to spores :(
Oh, Stephen Peele "claimed" to have most of these back in his day, but attempting to obtain any rare species from him was a like throwing money in the toilet. Now Gulf Coast cubensis he could supply without a problem :)
