Dunking=Large flushes=Lower potency?r

I was wondering if a brf/verm cake can only produce a certain amount of psilocybin/psilocin, no matter how many mushrooms are produced? The reason I ask is that out of 10 EQ cakes, I managed to get 68 very dry grams. From what I've heard , this is a fairly high yield. The cakes produced 5 flushes, with a 24 hr. dunk between each one. The first couple of flushes were of good potency, but 6 grams of flush 4 and 5 had a pretty crappy, 2 gram effect. Could this be caused by lots of water allowing lots of growth(many were 6-7" tall,and fat), but without producing as many active ingredients? Getting larger flushes isn't such a good thing if you have to choke down twice as much!! I'd appreciate hearing from anyone who has knowledge or theories on this. Thanks.

i don't see how the water could be the culprit, since other methods such as casing do essentially the same thing as a dunk, i.e. replenish the water needed to flush.
your yields were good, but potency is quite variable at any time.

Hiya Snake
Maybe the dunking is pumping all the mycelium cells with so
much water that the mushrooms come out bigger and in
more flushes but they have a higher (than the usual @90%)
water content, resulting in more mass but lower potency
INHALE.. ahhh. Maybe (I say maybe alot because i have
never grown but i kinda understand the principles) drying
these possibly waterlogged shrooms will get rid of the excess
tissue? Also I dont see how a mycelial body could only have
a finite amount of psilocybin available to its fruits. The spores
use the materials around them (substrate) and convert them
into chemicals that it can use. The potency is inherent in
(a part of) the mushroom's tissues and doesnt vary drasticly
from mycelium to mycelium within the same species
(unless of course you add straight DMTryptamines a la Gartz;
more info on that is on this website in grow/find)

dont forget that your body builds up a tolerance very very fast, so if you took like 2 grams of your first flush, then a few days later took 4 grams of your second flush , you will easily need 7 grams of your last flush to reach the same effect. (most people, but everyone is different)

Hey 393 i didnt catch that, you got a good I; If youre eating
your sacred shroom crop after every flush (within a short
period of time, like less than a month or so in between)
your journeys wont be so intense (I guess your body needs
some time to metabolize and excrete the active chemicals
so you can be fully empty and ready for another dose)

ive read that your body needs atleast 1 week between trips so your tolerance to psilocybin drops back to normal


but a month? sounds a little out there

Exactly you should always wait atleast a week to trip again "atleast!!" or it will just be a waste of good lil guys!! i learned that the hard way i was thinking my babys were shitty also but its just your body levels of the toxin so high ....so wait a couple weeks then youll have a surprise waiting:)Gl with them bro
