but i agree - with how easy it is to trace transfers on bit-torrent, i have a feeling there will be a big enough scare from the record companies and MPAA to deter people from using it...

you know, if the entire internet refused to be detered, and refused to acknowledge copywrite laws, there is no way that they could stop us. but the good ol' shock and awe strategy usually scares enough people to make the problem solvable by prosecution of a few...

The RIAA and any source of scare tactics and shit will only make the piracy more efficient and more advanced.

Napster was simple, it got busted. So, another way to get free shit was invented, but a little more complex. Busted--then another, etc. etc.
